Coronavirus is increasingly leaving the agenda of society in general and the tourism industry in particular. At the moment, 54 countries have already completely removed all covid barriers - such as vaccination certificates, PCR tests, and other entry restrictions. A detailed list of these countries was compiled by ATOR experts, highlighting the countries most popular with our tourists.

True, as experts note, it is still possible to get to only 10 of them on direct flights, and not all of these ten are popular. But in general, there are significantly fewer obstacles for a persistent tourist than in pandemic times.

The list from ATOR includes the following countries and subsections:

Western and Central Asia

Here the list is headed by Türkiye, where all restrictions were lifted on June 1, 2022. The country is open for our tourists, there are direct flights.
Abkhazia has never had any restrictions at all. For our tourists, it is available with a direct flight to Sochi, the land border is open
Armenia – all restrictions lifted from May 1, 2022. It is open, there are direct flights.
Kazakhstan – all restrictions lifted from June 8, 2022. It is open, there are direct flights, and the land border is also open.
Israel - all restrictions were lifted on May 21, 2022, only the need to fill out a questionnaire remains. It is open for tourists, there are direct flights.
Kyrgyzstan – all restrictions were lifted on May 1, 2022. It's open, there are flights.
Mongolia – all restrictions lifted from March 15, 2022. It is open, there are both direct flights and railway connections.

Near East:

Jordan – Pre-departure check-in is required on the online platform, other barriers are removed. It is open for Russian tourists, there are no direct flights yet, but they are planned from Sochi in June.
Oman – all restrictions were lifted on May 22, 2022. For ours, there are no direct flights, but negotiations are underway to open them.
Bahrain – all restrictions were lifted on March 15, 2022. Open and have direct flights
Kuwait – all restrictions were lifted on May 1, 2022. Open but no direct flights.

Southeast Asia and Exotic:

Vietnam – all restrictions lifted from May 15, 2022. It is open for our tourists, but direct flights have not yet been restored.
Maldives - all restrictions have been lifted from March 14, 2022, only a questionnaire is needed. Open to tourists and there are direct flights.

Europe:

We note right away that there are no direct flights to European countries due to air sanctions. There are only two exceptions - Serbia and Belarus. However, most countries issue visas, and tourists can get there by courier.

Belarus – all restrictions were lifted on May 28, 2022. It is open for our tourists, there are direct flights, as well as railway and air services.
Greece – all restrictions were lifted on May 1, 2022. It is open for our tourists, it issues visas.
Cyprus – all restrictions were lifted on June 1, 2022. It is open to our tourists.
Italy – all restrictions were lifted on June 1, 2022. It is open for our tourists, it issues visas.
Hungary – all restrictions were lifted on March 7, 2022. It is open for our tourists, it issues visas.
Austria – all restrictions were lifted on May 16, 2022. For Russian tourists, it is available with a transfer.
Slovenia – all restrictions were lifted on April 25, 2022. For Russian tourists, it is available with a transfer.
Switzerland – all restrictions were lifted on May 1, 2022. For our tourists it is open, there are no flights.
Croatia – all restrictions were lifted on May 1, 2022. For our tourists it is open, there are no flights.
Montenegro – all restrictions were lifted on March 11, 2022. It is open for Russian tourists, but a visa - despite the latest demarches, is still not required.
Albania – all restrictions were lifted on May 1, 2022. Open, no flights.
Bulgaria – all restrictions were lifted on May 1, 2022. Open, no flights.
Serbia – all restrictions were lifted on May 1, 2022. The only European exception that has retained direct flights to Russia, despite all the threats and mining.
Romania – all restrictions were lifted on March 13, 2022. Open, no flights.
Moldova – all restrictions were lifted on May 3, 2022. Open, no flights.
North Macedonia – all restrictions were lifted on April 23, 2022. Open, no flights.
Bosnia and Herzegovina – all restrictions were lifted on May 27, 2022. Open, no flights.
Czech Republic – all restrictions were lifted on April 9, 2022. In theory, it is open to Russian tourists, but one of the active participants in the Russophobic hysteria does not issue visas to our tourists. As well as the next few countries.
Poland – all restrictions were lifted on March 28, 2022. Does not allow entry to Russian tourists, no direct flights.
Latvia – all restrictions were lifted on March 31, 2022. Formally open, does not issue visas, no flights.
Lithuania – all restrictions were lifted on May 1, 2022. Formally open, but the situation is similar.
Belgium – all restrictions were lifted on May 23, 2022. Open, no flights. Andorra - all restrictions have been lifted (but entry through the territory of Spain and France, where they exist). Open, no flights.
United Kingdom – all restrictions were lifted on March 17, 2022. Theoretically open, but visas are likely to be a problem.
Ireland – all restrictions were lifted on March 6, 2022. Open, no flights.
Denmark – all restrictions lifted on 24 May 2022

Sweden – all restrictions were lifted on April 1, 2022. Theoretically open, no flights. Norway – all restrictions were lifted on March 2, 2022. Open, no flights.
Iceland – all restrictions were lifted on February 25, 2022. Open, no flights.

Latin America and the Caribbean:

Mexico - tests and certificates were never required, the only "restriction" (filling out a declaration before departure) was canceled on January 1, 2022. For our tourists it is open, there are no flights.
Jamaica - all restrictions were lifted on April 16, 2022. Open, no flights.
Dominican Republic - canceled all tests and certificates on September 15, 2020, for entry you only need to fill out an electronic application form. Open, no flights.
Cuba - all restrictions except for filling out the form have been lifted as of April 6, 2022. Open, no flights.
