Istanbul Airport was included in the TOP 10 best international airports in the world according to the results of a questionnaire survey organized among readers by the world-famous Travel and Leisure Magazine headquartered in New York.
According to the operator company (İGA), Turkey's largest air harbor has outstripped such leading world airports as Hammad, Incheon, Dubai, Hong Kong, Zurich, Abu Dhabi, Haneda, and Copenhagen in the ranking, taking the second position after Changi Airport in Singapore.
The 10 Best International Airports poll among readers of the magazine ran from October 25, 2021, to February 28, 2022.
According to the results of the survey, the airport of the Turkish metropolis received 94.06 points.
Compared to last year, the difference in scores with Singapore's Changi Airport has narrowed even more.
Travel and Leisure readers rank the "Top 10 International Airports in the World" based on criteria such as accessibility, check-in, security, dining, shopping, and design.
