Which is better house or apartment in Turkey?

Buying a property abroad is an important decision that requires careful analysis. Turkey, with its amazing climate, culture and diverse offerings, attracts both investors and those who dream of a second home under the sun. How to decide between a villa and an apartment? Let's figure it out.
Advantages of a villa in Turkey
Villas are the so-called private houses in Turkey, divided into two categories:
Detached. These are houses on a separate private territory, where the owner is independently responsible for the improvement and maintenance of his property. They are not fundamentally different from private houses in Russia. The main advantage of detached houses is the absence of an IDAT - payment for the maintenance of the house and the surrounding area.
The villas are located in a common enclosed area, respectively, you have to pay a fixed monthly fee for maintenance.

1. Spaciousness and Privacy: The villa is a spacious dwelling with an individual layout, a plot and a private territory. Here you will have a place for a swimming pool, a garden and even a barbecue.
2. Exclusivity: Villas are usually located in more secluded areas, providing privacy and panoramic views of nature or the sea.
3. Rental Options: If you do not plan to permanently reside in Turkey, the villa can be rented out, which brings additional income. But it is worth considering that villas are not so often rented, compared with apartments. However, tourists who go on vacation with large families prefer large villas, as their rent is cheaper than renting several apartments.
Advantages of an Apartment in Turkey
Modern apartments are located in comfortable residential complexes with a diverse infrastructure, which includes a wide variety of amenities from playgrounds and markets, to swimming pools and gyms. The wider the infrastructure, the greater the idat.
Advantages:
1. Central location: Apartments are usually located in more densely populated areas, closer to urban infrastructure, restaurants and beaches.
2. Convenience: The apartments provide all the necessary amenities, including public swimming pools, gyms and parking.
3. Investment: Investing in an apartment can be more profitable, and you can consider it as an investment in a rental business.
How to decide?
1. Budget: Your budget will be one of the key factors. Apartments are more often affordable, but villas provide unique advantages.
2. Lifestyle: Decide which lifestyle is closer to you. If you are looking for privacy and comfort, the villa is an excellent choice. And if you value proximity to city life, then an apartment is the right decision.
3. Purpose of purchase: If you are going to live here permanently, a villa may be more suitable for you. And if it's an investment or a place to stay, then an apartment may be a more logical choice.

Buying a property in Turkey is a matter of individual preferences. It is important to consider your needs, lifestyle and budget. The villa will provide comfort and space, the apartment – convenience and accessibility. In the end, regardless of the choice, Turkey will offer you options where you can enjoy the sun, the sea and the beauty of this amazing country.
