Türkiye SET A RECORD FOR MONTHLY EXPORT IN JUNE

Turkey's export volume in June 2022 amounted to $23.4 billion, which was a record monthly figure in the country's history. This was announced on Saturday by the Minister of Trade of the Republic Mehmet Mus.

“Turkey's export volume for June 2022 amounted to $23.4 billion, which is 18.5% higher than the same month last year. The volume of exports for June was the highest monthly figure for deliveries abroad in the history of Turkey. The export growth trend, which has continued since 2021, continues this year, which cannot but cause satisfaction,” the Anatolian Agency quotes him as saying.

Mush noted that in general, for the first half of the year, the volume of Turkish exports amounted to $126 billion.

The volume of Turkish imports in June rose by 40% to $31.6 billion, of which $8.1 billion came from energy purchases.
