Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy said that this year Turkey has maintained its third place in the international awards for the cleanest and safest Blue Flag beaches and marinas, and the number of awarded beaches has grown to 531.

The first and second places are occupied by Spain and Greece.
