THE FIRST CRUISE FROM SOCHI TO TURKEY STARTS IN FOUR YEARS

The 11-deck passenger liner Astoria Grande has finally arrived in Sochi. The ship's call was planned back in February, but it had to be postponed, and the ship was anchored in Istanbul for five months.
“The arrival of the Astoria Grande liner at the seaport of Sochi is a landmark event, because in four years not a single cruise ship has entered the resort,” Yury Vladimirov, general director of the Sochi Commercial Sea Port, told RG.

Now Astoria Grande sails under the Panamanian flag, the ship belongs to the Turkish company Miray Cruises. The liner is equipped with a modern stabilization system that provides maximum comfort for passengers even in stormy weather.

The first flight starts on July 16. Half of the seats are already sold out. In total, it is planned to make 15 flights until the end of October and carry more than 15,000 passengers. The liner accommodates 1382 people (593 cabins). The ship will depart from Sochi every Saturday at 22.00.

Four tourist routes to Turkey are now available: to Istanbul, to the island of Bozcaada and the resort of Sinop; to Istanbul, the resort city of Cesme, to Bozcaada and to Sinop; to Trabzon, Sinop, and Istanbul, as well as Istanbul, Sinop and Trabzon.

You can choose between a seven- and a 14-day tour. You will have to spend two days on the way. The cheapest inside cabin, without windows, costs 79 thousand rubles per person, and the most expensive one - a royal suite with a private deck (there are only four of them) - 240 thousand. There are even eight cabins for people with disabilities (for 83 thousand rubles). You don't need a visa, you only need a passport to travel.

The price includes four meals a day full board buffet (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, and soft drinks during meals), an entertainment program, access to the children's club with entertainment services, as well as fitness and spa areas. Excursions are paid separately.
