Recently, residents of Turkey and those wishing to move have seen an exorbitant increase in property prices in Turkey and, accordingly, rents for housing.
Over the past year, home rents have increased by more than 100% across the country.
Under these conditions, landlords began to demand from former tenants an extraordinary increase in rent or move out of the apartment.
As a result, the number of court cases has increased in recent months. On this occasion, experts made a statement that landlords have the right to increase the rent only after the end of the lease.
It is worth noting that the Antalya coast is at the top of the list in terms of annual rent increase, which increased by 122%. They are followed by Istanbul with 112.3%, Ankara with 106.7%, and Mersin with 98.2%.
