REAL ESTATE PURCHASES AND TRANSACTION CAN BE DONE IN NOTARIES NOW

From July 4, 2023, real estate purchase and sale transactions in Türkiye can be carried out at notaries. This was announced by Emine Caglayan, President of the Union of Notaries of Turkey.
Such measures were taken to reduce the burden on the land registry office. The increase in the volume of purchases and sales of real estate has caused an overload in the work of the bureau. In some branches *including Alanya, it became impossible to sign up for registration. Connecting notaries will help relieve the process of buying and selling and reduce bureaucracy. In addition, transactions will become possible even on weekends.
The notary fee will be 500 but not more than 4,000 liras, depending on the value of the property.
Through a notary, it will be possible to conduct transactions with any real estate: residential, land, or commercial.
