TURKISH CLOTHING BRANDS WANT TO OPEN THEIR STORE IN RUSSIA

Several Turkish brands of clothing and household goods intend to enter the Russian market. The companies are negotiating with shopping centers to open adL, Mudo, LTB, Twist, and İpekyol brand stores in Russia.

Domestic operators are interested in cooperation with new companies after the suspension of work in Russia by several major international players.

Dmitry Moskalenko, President of the Russian Council of Shopping Centers, confirmed to Izvestia that negotiations between Russian operators and Turkish companies are indeed underway.

Each of the companies plans to open more than 100 outlets in Moscow and the regions, and adL stores will be the first to open, Omur Surenkok, head of Surenkok Moscow, who promotes Turkish business in Russia, told the newspaper. This brand has already worked in Russia before. The first store may open in the fall in Moscow, the specific location has not yet been determined, Surenkok added.

He also noted that the listed Turkish brands will start sales in the Russian Federation with items from the autumn-winter collection. According to him, it will take six months for newcomers to the Russian market to open their first outlet.
