RUSSIA AND TURKEY STARTED NEGOTIATIONS ON REPLACING TURKISH BRANDS

Chairman of the Russian Council of Shopping Centers (RSTC) Dmitry Moskalenko said that Moscow and Ankara are entering a new phase of negotiations on replacing brands that have left Russia with Turkish ones.

“We predict that this autumn, a total area of three million square meters in the retail sector, which is equal to 420 football fields, will be free. For Turkish brands that are not yet in Russia, we offered the opportunity to occupy the best shopping centers, starting from Moscow, ”Hurriyet quotes him as saying.

Moskalenko added that RSTC is negotiating for Turkish companies to stay in Russia for a long time and make profitable investments.

He stressed that Russian consumers very warmly accept brands from Turkey.
