COVID RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED IN TURKEY HOTELS, IN PARTICULAR, THE BUF
- 19 May 2022
Almost all restrictions associated with the coronavirus pandemic have been canceled in hotels in Turkey. In particular, a buffet in restaurants is open as usual. This was reported by Interfax-Tourism concerning the statement of the General Director of the five-star Xanadu Resort Hotel in Belek Tariq Kyrankayu.
He said that the lifting of restrictions began in March, and shortly they will all be removed. At the moment, the requirement of social distance remains.
But we still have to confirm the certificate of safe tourism every month, as before, this is a requirement of the state. Now the certificate confirms that the hotel observes social distance plus hygiene rules - in rooms, pools, in the kitchen, he noted.
The general director of the five-star hotel noted that vacationers are pleased with the lifting of several restrictions, in particular the fact that the buffet has started working as usual. Thus, a much larger number of dishes became available to guests, since now there is no need to put a chef near each dish for distribution. The requirement to reserve rooms for easily ill and quarantined tourists has also been canceled. Now such tourists will be able to quarantine in their rooms.
