Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu made a statement at a press briefing held at the conference hall of the Immigration Administration, where he said that a total of 781 areas were closed to foreign citizens, in which the ratio of the number of foreigners to the total number of people exceeded 25%.
And already from July 1, it will be ensured that the level of foreign citizens does not exceed 20%. Thus, residence permits for foreign citizens will not be issued in 1200 micro districts.
It is worth noting that among the closed ones, the areas where refugees from Syria live prevail. Such as Gaziantep, Hatay, Mardin and Sanliurfe.
