IMPORTANT CHANGES IN THE REGISTRATION OF FOREIGN CITIZENS

Considering the intensity of foreigners in various regions of Turkey, previously 781 regions were closed for the registration of foreign citizens. On July 01, 2022, the number of closed micro-districts increased to 1169. The Migration Service published a new list of districts, which, unfortunately, also included 4 districts of Alanya: Avsallar, Kestel, Mahmutlar, and Kargicak.

In these regions, they will not issue residence permits either for rent or for homeowners to foreigners who apply for the first time. If you have already made an appointment, then they provide a month for the opportunity to move to another area and provide a new package of documents.

If you already have a residence permit from Tapu, then it will be extended.

Exceptions:

if a child is born in a family of foreign citizens, the newborn will receive a residence permit
if a first-degree relative (spouse, child under 18, parents) comes to a foreign owner who already has a residence permit, then the relative will be given a residence permit
if you are married to a Turkish citizen, then a residence permit will also be issued

The ban is a temporary measure. Most likely, the restrictions will be lifted shortly.
