HOW MUCH IMEI REGISTRATION COST NOW - HOW TO REGISTER YOUR IMEI?

Within the scope of the Presidential Decree published in the Official Newspaper, the amount of fees under the Fees Law No. 492 was increased by 50%. Thus, the fee for the use of phones brought with passengers from abroad has increased.

In 2023, the IMEI registration fee was increased from 2.732 TL to 6.091 TL. This fee was increased to 20.000 TL with the President's decision published in the Official newspaper on 7 July 2023.

The new amount of 20.000 TL determined for the IMEI registration fee will be effective as of 8th July.

 

HOW TO REGISTER YOUR IMEI?

In order to register the phones brought from abroad, an application must be made via e-Government within 120 days specified by the BTK.

For the registration process, firstly, the right to register via e-government is inquired, then the fee is paid and the registration process is completed.

T.R. The registration process is carried out by logging into the system via:

https://www.turkiye.gov.tr/btk-imei-kaydet, 

which is the only registration authority for those who have an identity number and foreign identity number and can obtain an e-Government password, and fill in the necessary information.

Persons who are not allowed to take action through the e-government portal (diplomatic document holders) can apply to the Subscriber Registration Centers.
