In Turkey, work continues on the implementation of a project for domestic high-speed trains.
According to the Anadolu agency with reference to the data of the TÜRASAŞ holding (Türkiye Raylı Sistem Araçları Sanayii A.Ş.), the design of the train is planned to be completed by the end of the year.
The goal of the project is to reduce the country's dependence on the export of railway trains and the formation of export potential in this area.
When implementing the project, the developed infrastructure and knowledge gained in the framework of the project "National Electric Train of the New Generation" are involved.
The Turkish-designed high-speed train will consist of 8 cars and accommodate up to 582 passengers, as well as reach speeds of up to 225 km/h.
Along with the design work, the process of creating a prototype train has also begun.
